This Pal demonstrates how quickly a sales rep can get a new Merchant Agreement completed, signed and processed. There are three roles in this Pal: the ISO sales rep, the merchant and the credit card service provider.
First - Once you have logged in to the system, you will start by playing the role of a sales rep. An easy-to-use wizard will walk you through capturing the merchant’s information. You can use the pre-populated information or enter your own data into the application. After you are finished, the system will send notification to the merchant that you are ready for them to review and sign the application.
Second - Now you are going to play the part of the merchant. You will receive an e-mail as the merchant with a link inviting you to review and sign the merchant agreement. You can log back into the ContractPal system using the same login information you used earlier. You can also upload required documentation, such as a copy of voided check, into the transaction. Once you, as the merchant, have reviewed and signed the agreement, the system will notify the sales rep via e-mail that the document is ready for review and signing.
Third - Next you will act as the sales rep and receive an e-mail notifying you that the merchant has signed the Merchant Agreement. Click on the link in the e-mail, log into ContractPal to review the agreement and sign it as the sales rep.
Fourth - Once you have completed your task, the system will automatically send a notification to the credit card service provider inviting them to review the agreement and approve it. Check your email and click on the invitation to view the agreement as the credit card service provider. After you have reviewed and signed the agreement notification is automatically sent to the ISO sales rep indicating that the process is complete.
