# ContractPal

> ContractPal is a cloud-based document and workflow automation platform that converts paper-based business processes into secure, compliant web applications. We specialize in electronic signatures, voice (telephonic) signatures, business process automation, and customer enrollment workflows. The platform runs on our CloudPiston compliance infrastructure and is SOC 2 Type 2 audited, HIPAA-capable, PCI-capable, ESIGN/UETA compliant, and GLBA/GPEA/PIPEDA/SOX aligned.

ContractPal was founded by team members who led iLumin and NxLight and participated in the federal workshops that shaped the ESIGN Act and UETA. Industry firsts include the first court e-filing with digital signatures (1999), the first electronic mortgage closing (2000), and the first multi-tenant public cloud for compliance workflows (2006). As of today, the platform has processed 4.5+ million transactions, captured 850,000+ voice signatures, and powers 3,000+ APIs.
